Killorglin Golf Club – historical information
Killorglin Golf Club, par 72 over 6467 yards, is set in the heart of Ireland’s best known golfing region. Designed by Eddie Hackett, one of the most celebrated golf course architects, the course makes excellent use of the landscape to provide exciting golfing challenges.
Killorglin Golf Club was founded in 1992
The course overlooks Dingle Bay and offers views of the stunning Macgillycuddy Reeks from every fairway.
Centrally located on the Ring of Kerry, Killorglin golf course benefits by being one of the closest to Kerry airport, only 20 minutes away. The course is also convenient for Tralee (22 km) and Killarney (20 km).
Visiting golfers and societies are very welcome. So, we advise you to book early to secure preferred tee-time.
Our staff (all keen golfers themselves) are happy to help in anyway possible, and will understand your needs, whatever your level.
Complementing the 18 hole course, a nine hole putting green and practice area are available.
Killorglin is in the geographical heart of Kerry, along the Laune river, 18 kilometers from Killarney. Because it is situated on a hill, the town is best known for Ireland’s oldest and most unusual of celebrated festivals – Puck Fair.
Kerry is a magnificent setting for a holiday with wonderful sights and activities; sea, mountains and lakes; salmon and trout fishing; traditional music; excellent accommodation, restaurants and pubs. And, of course, its world class golf!
“From the clubhouse is one of the most stunning views in all of Irish Golf”
